As Jesus prayed in agony in the Garden of Gethsemane, even His closest apostles, Peter, James, and John, struggled to remain awake and accompany Him. Jesus experienced profound loneliness, entering into the depths of human suffering so that we would never have to face our own loneliness without Him.
Through this mystery, we are reminded that when we feel isolated, unseen, or overwhelmed, Christ is right there beside us. We are never truly alone. The Lord invites us to bring our suffering to Him, while also inviting us to accompany Him in His own agony through prayer and faithful presence.
Brother Pius and Father Luke also discuss how our loneliness can become an opportunity for deeper communion with Christ and remind us that we are surrounded by the presence of the Lord, Our Lady, the angels, and the saints.
🙏 **Join us in praying a decade of the Rosary**, meditating on the Agony in the Garden and offering prayers for everyone experiencing loneliness, isolation, or suffering.
*A reminder for your week:* Visit Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament at your local parish. Just as we seek His presence when we feel alone, He also desires our presence with Him.
Remember: You are secure. You are loved. You are known. You are seen.
