The prophecies of Our Lady began to unfold soon after the apparitions at Fatima ended. After the Bolshevik Revolution, atheistic communism was established in Russia and began to spread, causing wars, famines and persecution of the Church. On June 13, 1929, Our Lady came to ask for the consecration of Russia to her Immaculate Heart. This consecration would take another 55 years to be done, by St. John Paul II. By then, Russia had spread its atheistic ideology throughout the world, and we are living with it today. We await with hope the promise of peace and the triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
